About Dr Justin
Dr Justin Armellin is a Canberra local who came home to practise general medicine, and his patients benefit from that decision every day.
A graduate of the University of Sydney’s postgraduate medical program, Dr Justin spent his early career working across emergency departments throughout New South Wales. That background gave him clinical sharpness and a calm under pressure that most GP training pathways simply can’t replicate. He returned to his hometown with that foundation in place, and now brings it to general practice full-time.
Training and Qualifications
Dr Justin holds his MBBS from the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
Clinical focus at Health Plus GP
Dr Justin is as invested in the “why” as the “what.” He believes patients who genuinely understand their health are better placed to manage it, and he takes real time in consultations to explain conditions, test results, and treatment options in plain, practical language. That approach makes a particular difference for patients with chronic conditions, where an ongoing relationship with a doctor who explains things clearly changes everything.
His clinical interests include internal medicine and chronic disease management, and he is comfortable seeing patients of all ages and backgrounds. Available Monday to Friday, he’s one of the first points of call for patients looking for a regular GP they can rely on week to week.
