Health Plus General Practice is a private practice with a compassionate billing policy. Our fees remain below the rates recommended by the AMA, and they represent the costs required to maintain high quality patient care. In line with our philosophy, we continually aim to provide a medical service of consistent quality and the highest standard.
Fees
Payment is required at the time of consultation. Bulk billing is not available for GP consultations. Some of the visits to our practice nurse is bulk billed.
Standard appointment (up to 15 minutes): $109.50/Medicare rebate $43.90
Long appointment (up to 30 minutes): $169.50/Medicare rebate $84.90
Full body skin check (30 minutes): $200/Medicare rebate $84.90
Payroll Tax – An additional $5.50 is applied on top of all privately billed consultations, to cover the cost of Payroll Tax, recently imposed on all General Practices by the ACT Government.
Payment Options and Medicare Rebates
Full payment is required on the day of your visit. We accept cash, EFTPOS and VISA or MasterCard. Where applicable, Medicare rebates are issued electronically once your account has been paid.
