My doctor has ordered a test, what’s next?

As Health Plus we have policies and procedures in place to ensure you receive your results in a timely manner. You can obtain a copy of our latest policy here for more detail. 

Test results are generally available within one week of being performed; however, certain test results may take considerably longer. Please clarify the timing of results with the test provider.

Please make a booking with your own doctor to discuss outstanding test results. If your results are abnormal and it is an urgent matter, your doctor will contact you directly. To ensure patient confidentiality and maintain a high standard of medical care, results are not released by reception.

Occasionally, your own doctor may be away or unwell. If you have not been advised of your test results and are unable to see your regular doctor, please contact reception who will schedule an appointment with another GP in our team.

  • Please book a follow-up appointment to discuss any test results.
